Ed02 please could you tell me the name of the striker arsenal are trying to buy? Thanks.
{Ed002's Note - Arsenal has enquired after the availability of Benzema but has been told that (a) another side has also enquired (Milan), (b) they expect PSG who want a leading French player to join to also be interested, and (c) it depends on their replacement being available.}

{Ed002's Note - Not right now. Chelsea has had a long term interest but are wary of the player having his heart set on a move elsewhere and both Bayern Munich and Dortmundhave dropped their previous interest.}

{Ed002's Note - Atletico Madrid signed Yannick Carrasco from Monaco in the summer of 2015 and are not looking to sell unless a very significant offer is made. Interest of Spurs has moved on and although enquiries have been made by a couple of other English sides he is expected to stay in Madrid for at least another two seasons.}

Hey ed are arsenal and Manchester united interested in Saul niguez.
{Ed002's Note - Saul Niguez is of speculative interest to Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich but a move was not viable past summer and in January Atletico Madrid told the two clubs who enquired (Manchester United and Barcelona) that they have no desire to sell. Manchester United had scheduled a January meeting but the club cancelled it because of the toxics. The player has previously insisted he has no interest in leaving Spain and the reason for speculation is that the player and the club has been unable, at this tiem, to agree the terms for a contract extension.}

{Ed002's Note - Fiorentina and Spurs were interested in striking a deal for Insigne in the summer of 2015 but the player was insistant that he wanted to stay in Naples. A January 2016 approach to Napoli by PSG was rebuffed with a "not for sale" response. Real Madrid and Arsenal both watched the player against Legia Warsaw as his agent was keen to share last season and there is no secret that Insigne has made it clear wants to play for Arsenal at some point - whether or not they are interested in trying to negotiate with Napoli is another matter - but if they were to lose Alexis Sanchez it has to be a good possibility. Barcelona, Atletico and Juventus all spoke with his agent regarding his availability in the summer of 2016. A summer move away from Napoli might just be possible, but the cost would be significant and Napoli are very difficult to deal with. The player has said he would be open to a new contract but they cannot agree on the wages so are right now are still at a stalemate. Napoli will not feel obliged to sell and they are in no rush. I suspect he will stay unless a very significant offer comes from Arsenal, Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Southampton and Atalanta have both been regularly scouting Sassuolo's Matteo Politano.
Lorenzo Pelligrini joined Sassuolo from Roma and his performances have attracted scouts from Manchester City, Juventus, Everton, Chelsea and, not least Roma who have the opportunity to buy him back should he become available. Sassuolo would rather not sell for at least a couple of years but are confident his value will continue to rise.}

{Ed002's Note - Torino's Bruno Peres was subject of interest from Batern Munich but decided to extend his contract in November. His agemt cited interest from Manchester City, PSG and Marseille but that all remains very, very speculative right now. Arsenal made an offer that was noted to be disrespectful whilst Roma and Leicester enquired if he would be available.

Hey ed is anyone looking to sign jeison murillo of inter. Also anyone looking at Rodrigo caio? He was highly rated a few years ago but never moved to Europe. thanks.
{Ed002's Note - Much earlier in the season Rafa Benitez was asked (when at Real Madrid) about Inter Milan's supposed "valuation" of Jeison Murillo and their rejection of an offer of €35M from Real Madrid he was rather bemused. Whilst Inter are keen to raise cash to buy with, I would expect that they would bite the arm off any club offering what is five times what they paid last summer but a third party has made an approach to them on behalf of Manchester United. Leicester would be interested but at nothing like the asking price.}
