I tried to put up a post about Monchi the other day but looks like its disappeared. If this was deliberate because you are wanting to steer clear about questions related to coaches/ DOFS then no problem - i'm happy to drop this line of inquiry.
Otherwise I was interested to find out what happened at Roma for Monchi? Some of his transfers were what I would term classic Monchi eg Zaniolo, But others were a bit more miss eg Jarsdorp being signed when he was already under an injury cloud. Was this all his doing or were the higher ups having more say over the transfers than he might have liked.
Plus it looks from the outside that his transfers left the team unbalanced eg an emphasis on attacking midfielders but the defensive side wasnt addressed. Was this due to options not being available and him wanting to address them down the track or was it because someone else was dictating priorities?
