Juventus have not, as of a few minutes ago, made any offer to Real Madrid for Ronaldo. They have however spoken with his representative, Jorge Mendes, about what it would take to get the player and whether or not he would be interested (given that there is aplan from Real Madrid to utilise him elsewhere in a transaction) .

Is the plan for Neymar or Mbappe?

Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained everything already.}

2.) 04 Jul 2018 22:25:52
Would Juventus need to sell a significant star to finance the deal Ed002?

{Ed002's Note - They are making changes already but the issue would be wages and the need for “support” would be there.}

3.) 04 Jul 2018 22:40:17
Thanks Ed002.

This is why Ed002 is simply the best when it comes to football knowledge and to share this without anyone even asking is unbelievable stuff. Top work Ed, never change and please never leave this site. As I'm sure 99% of the users on this site will agree, your knowledge is appreciated huge amounts.

Question directed to the omniscient Ed002. Were Barcelona able to get their alternative target to Coutinho? If not, do you suspect them to continue holding an interest in Coutinho and try again in January?

Name: Abbassep

{Ed002's Note - Barcelona nearly signed Angel Di Maria but that would only have addressed part of their problem and they still need to replace Iniesta. Whilst they would ideally like Verratti or Coutinho they have effectively moved on and have reverted to a Plan B and will see how that goes first. They also, internally, are being pushed at another option who would not be available until next summer at the earliest. But by then politics may well have shifted matters somewhat.}

1.) 02 Sep 2017 13:04:54
Would that be Eriksen Ed?

{Ed002's Note - Would what be Eriksen?}

2.) 03 Sep 2017 02:12:43
Think he meant if Eriksen is next on the list now that Verratti and Coutinho are out of reach Ed002. Maybe they will turn to Eriksen, Dele Alli or make another move for Seri.

{Ed002's Note - No the Spurs players might be considered as futured options but they are not in the picture right now. Plan B is to integrate Carles Alena in to the team slowly as a potential Iniesta replacement. Interest in Verratti will very probably fall behind interest in
Thiago Alcantara. Barcelona will investigate the potential return of Thiago as an Iniesta replacement next summer regardless of him signing a new contract this year.}

Hector Villalba has been of interest to FC Dallas, Dnipro, Hertha and Roma. However, interest it is the sustained interest of Sampdoria that resulted in a bid being rejected this summer. My expectation is that he is looking for a move to Spain, in particular Valencia and that there is a decent chance that could happen in 2016.

There is interest from Inter in Ciro Immobile and the player wants to return to Italy after a difficult year in Germany - actually a real disaster - and a loan to Sevilla that is not working out well. If Inter were to cash in on Icardi then it is possible - but they also look to Yarmolenko and money might well be a bigger issue than people realise.

Fiorentina want Falcao in January and there is a break point in the contract that could see that happen - but there is a cost to Chelsea. Additionally Piero Ausilio attended the Chelsea vs Dinamo Kyiv game to watch another player - but he did discuss a couple of other matters with Chelsea and it is possible that did enquire after the availability of Falcao - but this remains speculative and in my view unlikely unless they were to let Icardi move on - and even then their primary target is someone else. }.

Thanks for the update Ed002.

Hope you don't mind me asking about the part you mentioned that "given that there is aplan from Real Madrid to utilise him elsewhere in a transaction" Are you willing to give the details on that part? No worries if not. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - I have explained about Real Madrid’s plans.}

Thanks for the update Ed, it's really gathered steam all this. Is it true they had an 100 mill buy out for non Spanish clubs and psg that's recently came active? Also reading he's willing to move to Juve and its only a matter of time till the official bid is on the table.
If he was to go to Juve do you think this will be good or bad for calico leagues?

{Ed002's Note - You need to drop thoughts about "buy out" clauses. I would caution anyone to think about money in this matter as I rather doubt they will grasp the monies involved and the level of financial commitment a club would need to make.}

3.) 05 Jul 2018 10:12:40
OK mate. Its not so much the transfer fee is it. It's the wage bill, helped by a sponsor, it's exactly what Juve are after though. Bigger brand and more marketability. He's perfect for them, and their goals.

{Ed002's Note - It is not simply that - it would be image rights issues, access to him from his own sponsors, yadda, yadda, yadda.}

Agents and intermediaries are involved in all aspects of the negotiation, not least the package offered to the player - which has nothing to do with the selling club. }.
