Hi Ed002, do you expect Moriba of Barcelona to move this summer and can you tell us where there is interest in him?

RedRosie

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea are interested and will look to buy him.}

1.) 08 Aug 2021 22:35:01
Well that's wildly disappointing. Thanks for the response!

Hi Ed002 - are you no longer providing information on Pogba? I understand you expected things to be more clear after the meeting yesterday but I haven't seen an update anywhere.

RedRosie

{Ed002's Note - Nope, there will be no updates.}

1.) 06 Jul 2016 15:03:40
I think Pogba will go to Madrid, like ed002 said in a post elsewhere they are prepared to do anything to get there man.

Hi Ed, Would love to get an update on what plans Juventus have for this summer please?

RedRosie

{Ed002's Note - Much of this will change by the summer and there are major dependencies on players leaving et... However, there is known to be (or have recently been) some level of interest in the following players:

G

Neto agreed to renew his contract at Fiorentina before verbally agreed to join Juventus. Since then he has given a verbal agreement to join Sampdoria. Regardless of him seeming like a complete flake, Liverpool's interest was rekindled - I am not sure where it is now. I suspect the prior interest of Arsenal has gone.

RB

PSG and Barcelona were working on a deal last summer that would have seen Dani Alves move to Paris as part of a deal for Marquinhos. Recently his representatives have been in discussions with Manchester United and Juventus but PSG and the player are keen to reach an agreement, but have been struggling over detail - and PSG will likely walk away.

CB

River Plate's Balanta is of serious interest to Udinese, Roma, Valencia, Juventus, Real Madrid, Galatrasaray and AC Milan. Napoli and Caniggia for Liverpool had shown interest when he was younger. Arsenal and Chelsea have watched the player as well. He would need a lot of work before being ready to play at the highest level in Europe. Udinese, Roma and Valencia are actively seeking an agreement before we reach the summer transfer window and this may well spark a push from elsewhere.

Mats Hummels will be the primary target (if available) for Manchester United and is also wanted by Juventus. Arsenal's interest has gone.

LB

Filipe Luis will be offered to Atletico if he wishes to leave. Juventus have approached Chelsea about his availability.

Juventus, Manchester City and Real Madrid have declared an interest in Gaya. Chelsea may also have an interest if Felipe Luis were to leave. Valencia are not looking to sell.

DM

The interest in Braga's Danilo is from Juventus Italy but his third-party ownership would need resolving.

Udinese's Allan Marques Loureiro is of interest to Dortmund and Wolfsburg with Chelsea turning their attention to him after Dendoncker signed an extension. The interest of Juventus seems to now be on hold.

M

Juventus have an option to make Pereyra's loan permanent in the summer - and they probably will.

Axel Witsel is looking for a new challenge, Juventus, Milan or Olympiakos may be able to provide it. Juventus has put an offer on the table.

Nigel De Jong is interesting Juventus who are expecting to make significant midfield changes this summer. De Jong may be considered as an alternative for Manchester United but he will be far from first choice.

If Marco Verratti were available there would be plenty of clubs interested, not least Juventus and he remains open to a move there. PSG will be prepared to let him and Cavani go to Juventus as part of a deal for Pogba but Juve want to control the transfer. Real Madrid will push if it looks like he is going to be available.

Chelsea may sacrifice Oscar in the summer with Juventus known to be keen on the player. PS have enquired on several occasions, as have Real Madrid, but neither seems to be pushing at the moment.

Juventus, Arsenal and Chelsea enquired about Rabiot in 2013 and PSG were not keen to sell. Chelsea and Arsenal both enquired again in the summer of 2014 but would see him as one for the future - and neither will commit to the guarantee of first team football that was being requested by the player. Rabiot has been bleating about not being in the first team at PSG and a move to Arsenal or Chelsea would not resolve that in the short term. However, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle and Manchester City have had him watched and Spurs were keen on taking him on a loan to buy deal in January. Although previously backing away due to the request for a guarantee of playing time, talks are again happening with Juventus. Spurs has to be a contender still.}

Barcelona, Juventus, Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in Fluminense's Gerson.

Real Madrid have dropped interest in Ramires for now but Juventus remain keen.}

Southampton made an enquiry about Sneijder in December but didn't follow it up. Juventus discussed him with Galatasaray who had no interest in selling in January. Their possible willingness to sell in the summer may be driven by a need to reduce wages rather than any transfer fee as he is still seen as an asset by the club.}
Dortmund's Mkhitaryan is of interest to Juventus but the player, who earlier in the season was unhappy in Germany, seems content right now.}

S

Manchester United are unlikely to offer Falcao a permanent deal and he will need to find a new club - Juventus and real Madrid are possible destinations.

Dzeko may well be leaving with firm interest from Juventus - but interest from Valencia and just perhaps Inter remains tentative - Turkey may provide a solution.

Enquiries have been made for Sassuolo's Zaza by Eintracht Frankfurt and Spurs. Juventus only recently sold the remainder of his rights to Sassuolo and a clause allowing Juventus to match any sale offer exists - so an offer from elsewhere needs to be on the table before that clause can be exercised. Alternatively, Juventus might wish to short-track a deal with Sassuolo at a fixed-price, albeit higher than that which they otherwise might be able to buy him. There is no final agreement at this time.

Roma and, particularly, Inter Milan are interested in taking Jovetic back to Italy. Juventus have dropped their interest and moved on.

Ajax's Ricardo Kishna has been watched by representatives of Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayer Leverkusen and Juventus this season. His agent is trying to engineer a move to Juventus for his client. I understand that old interest from Liverpool has been rekindled but it is hard to see how he would fit in.

Palermo are struggling to have Dybala sign a new contract but have made it clear that they will sell for €50M but will accept a single payment of €40M - a fee which will put off most clubs. His agent has been acting in an unprofessional manner and offering him to various clubs. Juventus, Inter, Dortmund and Arsenal have a declared interest. Juventus are looking for talks with the player and his representative and have put an offer on the table that includes players and a little cash. Arsenal have made a cash offer but it is short of what Palermo are looking for. Chelsea have also made an offer that is not acceptable to his club. There is also interest in him from Spain, Atletico Madrid - and if Barcelona can raise the funds in the summer to start their rebuilding programme, then he will wait for January as both club and player would like a deal.

PSG are willing to sell Cavani this summer and he has been offered to a number of sides who had previously shown an interest. Atletico Madrid are already planning sales to fund a bid for Cavani. Manchester City would likely not be in a position to move for Cavani without a series of major sales. Manchester United may be interested but the price and the wages would make a decision very difficult if they wish to do other significant business in the summer. Chelsea has no further interest in the player. Juventus were certainly interested but financially they would need to be creative and are now looking elsewhere. I would not be surprised to see Real Madrid try and get involved again. He was aprt of the package offered by PSG for Pogba, as was Verratti - but Juventus are looking to a deal they can control. However it is Atletico Madrid who are looking to sell Mandzukic and Arda Turan to fund a move for Cavani.}

Lacazette's position is complex as it involves another player. There is interest in him from a number of clubs including Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Arsenal and, in particular PSG and there have been a number of discussions about his future. Manchester City moved on to buy Bony in January and now need to be making space if they are going to continue their interest in Lacazette. With Jovetic and probably Dzeko leaving in the summer nothing will come of it unless Aguero were to also leave. Much will depend on the future of the other player and what happens in terms of success this season and Champions League qualification. My expectation is that he will stay at Lyon.

Tielemans has attracted interest from Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Juventus, Napoli and Marseille. Chelsea have actively been speaking with his club very recently but would need to send him on loan for, I imagine, two years or more. Atletico have been speaking with Anderlecct and the player likes the idea of a move to Madrid. I am sure the seal can be finalised.

Porto are prepared to cash in on Jackson Martinez with varying degrees of recent interest from Valencia, Inter, Arsenal, Roma, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Juventus. However, whilst Porto will seek his full release clause of 40M euro but would likely need to settle for less (€36M for want of a number). Two bids from Juventus were turned down and Milan baulked at the asking price. This has left Valencia who are looking to make improvements again this summer, Napoli who have spoken with Porto and the player and have "broadly" struck a deal twice - but have struggled to get the detail finalised - and Arsenal who would need to match the Napoli deal. Spurs and Roma are still a possibility but the price will not be attractive. Atletico and Juventus have certainly moved on. His agent has sounded out Manchester United to see if they are interested.

Atletico, Genoa, Juventus, Liverpool and Real Madrid all enquired after Vietto in the summer of 2013. I understand that there is current interest from Atletico, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Juventus with Spurs having approached his agent at the end of February as well. An interesting side issue is that Barcelona, unable to buy players before January 2016, have offered to provide Villareal with a player (apparently suitable for their first team) on loan from this coming summer if they can get an option on the player for January. I think that is unlikely to work out and talks will soon begin with Real Madrid.

Not one for the summer in all probability. Luiz Adriano's contract runs out at the end of the year (one of the last remaining December contracts) and he is able to negotiate a move as a free agent from the end of the season. Roma, AC Milan, Porto and Galatasaray are interested. Interest of Juventus has gone. I am a little surprised that there is no firm interest from Liverpool or Arsenal at this time. Roma are looking to take him on loan with a view to making the move permanent in January 2016, which will get Shakhtar a small fee.}

1.) Thanks ed. Really good info, much appreciated.

Who said anything about Manchester United? This is the Serie A page? to answer your question I expect a club to come to an agreement with MDL at some point if a transfer is to be completed, I guess I just wondered if that had happened yet.

Has anything changed with De Ligt since your last update Ed002? Appreciate you don't want to give 'blow-by-blow' on every transfer but it'll likely be one of the biggest transfers of the summer and I'm woefully impatient.

RedRosie

{Ed002's Note - What do you expect to change - it is nothing to do with Manchester United. The transfer window only became active yesterday.}
