Hi Ed's, hearing a lot of rumours that achraf Hakimi is about to sign for inter, is this actually looking like it's going to be a done deal?

And also if possible, a rundown of inters possible incomings and outgoings.

Many thanks in advance.

jhilton2k13

{Ed002's Note - Achraf Hakimi (RB/RM) will only leave to return to Real Madrid they if look to the market for a Carvajal replacement or can guarantee game time. And that is unlikely with Odriozola being first choice. BD want him to stay for a third year on loan and if RM move for Haaland then then he could form part of the deal and make a permanent move, but that is not happening this summer. Real Madrid want to cash in and Dortmund have signed a replacement already. There is interest from Bayern Munich and Inter Milan who was offered the player whilst discussions were taking place over someone else. I don't have the time to go through all of the Inter targets right now.}

Hi Eds, was just wondering if I could have a breakdown of Inter Milan's expected ins and outs as I'm seeing them linked with almost every player going, and would like to see who they actually are interested in.

Many thanks in advance.

{Ed002's Note - I am sorry but I cannot answer any questions where I am being asked to list "expected" ins and out for any club. I suggest you try elsewhere.}

Sorry Ed, bad phrasing, I just wanted a rundown of who they are linked with/ interested in, and who might be leaving.

{Ed002's Note - {Ed002's Note - I cannot tell you who clubs have been "linked" to - and I am not going to predict the timing of transfers, but Inter have shown an interest in:
Toby Alderweireld (CB) if they can get him for a low fee in January or a pre-contract
Jean-Clair Todibo (CB) will only be sold with a buy-back clause and €25M - plenty of interest but Barcelona do not see him as good enough - will be available in January and is being offered around to clubs including Everton, Inter, Manchester United. But Milan already in talks and interest from Bayer Leverkusen and Southampton.
Matteo Darmian (RB/CB/LB)
Ashley Young (RB/LB) Inter have approached the player to take on an 18 month contract to provide cover for both full back positions - needs the club to agree
Marcos Alonso (LWB) wanted for the summer
Layvin Kurzawa (LWB) Free Agent option
Emerson (LWB) but serious interest from Juventus

Nemanja Matic (DM) would be a good solution, but Manchester United are refusing January talks so a pre-contract might be looked at
Julian Weigl (DM/CM) heading to Benfica
Arturo Vidal (DM/CM) wants to move to the Premier League so needs persuading
Denis Zakaria (CM/DM) BM will sell in January but Spurs and Bayern Munich baulked at the €60M asking price - other clubs (Borussia Dortmund - as a Weigl replacement; Manchester United - but unless they get a decent coach; and Inter Milan who won't be able to commit to the price and want Matic instead) have been looking at him
Parma would like to take him - and Parma say Inter have been watching Dejan Kulusevski (AM/W) and talking with Atalanta - and that numerous other clubs have sent scouts to watch him - nobody likes the circa €50M asking price. Inter won't pay that but have players to use in exchange - and that remained the most likely solution - but Juventus showed an interest and included a loan-back to Parma deal which satisfied everyone – I could be tempted to predict he will never play for Juventus but be sold or traded when the loan to Parma eventually expires.
Rodrigo de Paul (CM)
Stefano Sensi (CM) Inter plan on taking up their option to buy but Barcelona have spoken with Sassuolo and want to buy out his loan in January and sign him.
Emanuel Vignato (AM//RW) Chievo youngster who is attracting attention from Chelsea, Bayern Munich and a several Italian sides including Milan, Napoli, Torino and Inter. Torino have already been discounted as an option and troubles at Napoli, who he nearly joined in the summer may well remove them as well. He is behind Federico Chiesa for Inter.
Christian Eriksen (AM/LW) versatility is attracting PSG to push for a Free Agent deal in the summer - Inter also remain very keen. An approach by Manchester United to buy Erksen may be viable in January – but the player wants Real Madrid and Real Madrid will look to him if space can be made available in the squad - and the preference will be for the summer (but it is something his agent is working on). Juventus also retain an interest but he is not first choice - but their first choice looks unlikely. Mr Mourinho would like to keep him but is aware that all of these sides, except Manchester United, can speak directly with the player from January.
Federico Chiesa (RW) - I think this was the last thing I wrote about Federico Chiesa being a potential replacement for Salah: "As for Salah, I am aware that he and his agent are aware that they have put themselves in a difficult position with financial demands which saw them laughed out of Madrid and approaches to other sides came to nothing - regardless, Liverpool is probably the best place for Salah to be biding his time right now. The efforts to boost his profile will no doubt continue and he will doubtless be holidaying with a professional photographer again and be seen kissing babies and rescuing swooning girls with twisted ankles from being eaten by bears. But these efforts to sell him as the new Real Madrid poster boy may come to nothing as they have a first choice forward target for next summer. So right now it is hard to say where he could potentially move to unless things change - and they always do. In terms of a replacement, the player Klopp has made no secret of his desire to work with is Lorenzo Insigne but I suspect age is against that ever happening. So if someone were to push me in to saying who would be the best fit if Salah were to leave next summer, I would say Federico Chiesa. He would be a direct replacement, has similar attributes to Salah, is liked by Klopp and, although Liverpool have shown no interest, will be sold next summer - assuming Fiorentina can fight off Inter this summer.
As far as I am aware, Liverpool have still not made any approach to Fiorentina for Federico Chiesa. However interest in him from elsewhere remains and it is still the intent if Inter to push for a move for him as soon as they can. And that is the move the player has wanted. Sarri desired the player when at Napoli and he wants to improve his options at Juventus but it would mean moving on both Douglas Costa and Bernardeshi first. Napoli is in turmoil and unattractive to players. Prior interest of Milan and Roma has gone due to the asking price.
Jeremie Boga (LW) Napoli want him as a replacement for Insigne who they expect to leave in the summer and want him in January to bed him in. They have had a $20M offer rejected but will return. Brighton and Inter have enquired about his availability. Chelsea has an option to buy him back for €15M.
Olivier Giroud (S) offers from elsewhere - wife will need to be part of the decision process.

Leaving may well be:
Matteo Politano (RW) heading across the corridor to the other dressing room
Gabriel Barbosa (S) Flamengo want him and he wants Flamengo but money issues - West Ham has an interest but it is a risk and may not suit Moyes. He has been offered by Inter to Chelsea in a deal involving Olivier Giroud.
Lautaro Martinez (S) Inter will face serious interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona - who see him as a Suarez replacement.
Mauro Icardi (S) will look to shun PSG and still seek a move to Juventus.
