Question for Ed2 or Ed1, do you think we will in the not to distant future see the Italian league as a powehouse they was were. I remember the days players would look to Seria A on par with La Liga or the Premiership but it would appear long gone are those days. Juventus are the only team that compete in the Champions League and maintain and stronghold and very good reputation around European football but teams such as AC Milan and Inter Milan who were once feared fell by the wayside. What happened? and would the upper tier of footballers look to Seria A instead of seemingly opting for La Liga, Bundesliga and now the French Ligue 1 as the place to apply their trade at the pinnacle of their career.

Ed2. In your opinion would Guardiola leave City for a Barcelona team in transition? From that outside looking in it strikes me as an odd move to make.
{Ed002's Note - Laporte wants it but as I explained Guardiola will not want to make that move.}
