Hi ed, I know you have said you don't expect him to move any time soon but who are the clubs that have interest in Griezmann, have any clubs enquired over him this summer or do you know of any clubs that may push for him next?

Also is Saul Niguez happy to stay at Atletico Madrid? for some reason even tho he only recently signed a new contract, I thought he wanted to leave this summer?

Thanks ed/ s!

{Ed002's Note - Atletico has no intention of selling Griezmann unless a very significant fee is offered. Whilst Griezmann has said on a number of occasions that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon, he has said he would be interested in a move to Chelsea if the opportunity arose in the future - and whilst that still stands, he wants to stay at Atletico for what will likely have to be two years with an impending issue which will impact the club. PSG and perhaps Bayern Munich would also be very interested if he became available. PSG will not be in a position to do any sort of deal unless some very adventurous other plans they have fall through, but they are desperate for a high-end French player and he might move to the fore as a target. Bayern Munich look to have found their desired player elsewhere and I would think can likely be ruled out. Chelsea pushed for a deal for Griezmann and discussions continued with a third party representing Chelsea but were told there would be no sale and he has signed a new contract - but a recent discussion was again held and if he comes on to the market they could return with another proposal. End of the day - I suspect he will stay in Madrid for two more years.

Saul Niguez is of speculative interest to Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich but a move was not viable past summer and in January Atletico Madrid told the two clubs who enquired (Manchester United and Barcelona) that they have no desire to sell. Manchester United had scheduled a January meeting but the club cancelled it because of the toxics. The player has repeatedly insisted he has no interest in leaving Spain and the reason for speculation was that the player and the club were unable, at that time, to agree the terms for a contract extension. An offer from Arsenal was rejected out of hand but Barcelona may well step in with a bid but the player and his agent want the Premier League, the profile that brings and the money - and approaches have been made to Chelsea and another side - but the fee is very high.}

Could you expand on PSG's very adventurous plan Ed? Is it signing a top player? Would that player be Ronaldo, Messi or Suarez?

{Ed002's Note - It is of no relevance to this matter.}
