Can you advise what you think will be the comings and goings at Ath Madrid this summer?

Manchester United had scheduled a January meeting but the club cancelled it because of the toxics. The player has previously insisted he has no interest in leaving Spain and the reason for speculation is that the player and the club has been unable, at this time, to agree the terms for a contract extension. An offer from Arsenal was rejected out of hand but Barcelona may well step in with a bid.}

Hi ed do you think Man Utd could rekindle there interest in Saul Niguez or has the interest gone for now?

Also are we showing any interest in Antoine Griezmann?

And finally are anyone taking a look at Diego Godin?

Is Man Utd's transfer strategy dependant on the 2 issues needing to be resolved or have they now been resolved?

{Ed002's Note - Dave I really don't want to be answering any MU questions at all, but as a treat on the anniversary of Hoffman's bicycle ride (1) Saul Niguez is of speculative interest to Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich but a move was not viable past summer and in January Atletico Madrid told the two clubs who enquired (Manchester United and Barcelona) that they have no desire to sell. The player has repeatedly insisted he has no interest in leaving Spain and the reason for speculation is that the player and the club has been unable, at this time, to agree the terms for a contract extension. An offer from Arsenal was rejected out of hand but Barcelona may well step in with a bid. (2) Atletico has no intention of selling Griezmann unless a very significant fee is offered. Whilst Griezmann has said on a number of occasions that he has no plans to leave Spain anytime soon, he has said he would be interested in a move to Chelsea if the opportunity arose in the future. PSG and perhaps Bayern Munich would also be very interested if he became available. PSG will not be in a position to do any sort of deal unless the other plans they have fallen through, but they are desperate for a high-end French player and he might move to the fore as a target because of that. Bayern Munich look to have found their desired player elsewhere and I would think can likely be ruled out. Chelsea are still pushing for a deal for Griezmann and discussions have continued with a third party representing Chelsea in these discussions – and Chelsea will continue to push for a solution. I would still not rule out PSG getting themselves in to a situation where an offer is viable, but it is dependent on perhaps two other matters. (3) Atletico are not looking to sell Godin and previously interested clubs are aware of that. (4) I am not going to get in to that Dave.}

Yes ed. Your on about Albert Hoffman. "Bycicle Day". I got the wrong hoffman, apologies. Albert on the other hand made an interesting discovery.
