Ed. Are any teams going to make any marquee signings in this window and are any teams interested in Griezmann, Pogba, Ibrahimovic or Reus. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - Many of the usual suspects are still shopping for players and you can certainly expect more from a number of clubs with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Wolfsburg, Manchester City, Manchester United, Juventus, Chelsea and PSG all in the midst of working on transfers that may or may not come off.

Interest in Griezmann seems to have now gone for the player from Bayern Munich whilst they have another player in mind and an unresolved situaltion in Munich, but discussions have continued with a third party representing an English side. I would still not rule out PSG getting themselves in to a situation where an offer is viable - they remain keen on a high profile French signing.

For the right price, the right package and for the right destination, Paul Pogba will leave Juventus this summer. A number of clubs have considered Pogba and I will try and explain where each stands.

PSG are desparate to sign a high-end French player to placate the fans. They have put an offer on the table to Juventus but it was not acceptable as it included Verratti and Cavani - but Juve are looking to a deal they can control (but they may still take Verrati as a separate deal). PSG are in a difficult situation with UEFA and subject to financial sanctions but may well try to sell to raise the funds to return for Pogba or again offer players in exchange. Even then a ripple effect and the sanctions could cause them further issues. And regardless of that, there are other FFF limitations that could still potentially cause them a problem.

Manchester United would have liked to strike a deal but I suspect the chances of a move is near zero and they are probably right out of the picture - likely knowing it would never have happened in any case.

Manchester City are planning on making quite a number of changes this summer and are looking to negotiate with UEFA over some restrictions which will limit what they can do. Whilst they have enquired after Pogba they are far from an attractive option for the player. And like PSG, Manchester City remain in a difficult situation with UEFA and subject to financial sanctions but both may well try to sell to raise the funds for Pogba or offer players in exchange. Even then a ripple effect and the sanctions could cause them further issues. However, financially Manchester City are likely to be willing to pay close to the asking price and to offer him the best package.

Chelsea remain keen on Paul Pogba, would like to strike a deal for the summer and have had a number of conversations with the concerned parties to see what can be done. Financially Chelsea are in a position to make something happen but they will not be held to ransom. They are aware it would be very difficult and do have alternatives in mind.

Although Real Madrid moved on from their previous interest, there is every chance still of a summer offer including players in part exchange. I very much suspect Real Madrid could still become a player in this saga.

Although Barcelona are constrained before 2016 they will go all out to strike a deal now for next year as their rebuilding begins - which may mean committing to waiting until January with the rest of the season on loan, which will suit Barcelona, but not necessarily Juventus who, if they sell, will need the money. Barcelona will be strong financially and will look to sell one or two high-value players to help fund the rebuild - and they very much want Pogba to be at the centre of that.

Paris Saint-Germain would be more than pleased to sell Zlatan Ibrahimovic and get his vast wages off the books. Milan would be open to some sort of deal but it would require some financial issues to be resolved. His agent has spoken to an English side about his availability but right now nothing is happening.

The Reus situation is that Borussia Dortmund offered a significant cash sum to the player to sign a one year extension to remove the release clause that German clubs could use to force a deal for the summer. Manchester United's interest has moved on, at least for now. Chelsea stepped back from any deal in December after several discussions resulted in a significant issue becoming clear - if that goes away then it is possible something could still be done, but I very, very much doubt it. Bayern is no longer pushing for him. Real Madrid would like a deal but need to move others on first - which it looks like they will try, but it could be 2016 before they want to make a move for him. Barcelona may look to striking a deal for January 2016 as a replacement for Pedro - but Reus has made it clear that he feels let down by them last summer. Arsenal will be interested if he is available but my expectation is he will probably remain at Dortmund next season.}
