Hope you are all well. I was just wondering if there was interest in Victor Osimhen from EPL clubs?

{Ed002's Note - Victor Osimhen (S) Napoli made it clear to Chelsea who enquired just before the last summer transfer window closed that even €100M would not buy the player. Chelsea and Manchester City maintain an interest but he would not be first choice for either. Real Madrid could look to him as an option to Haaland. Manchester United Bayern Munich, Arsenal and PSG have all sent scouts and all will be looking to add strikers next summer. Seen as a possible Harry Kane replacement by Antonio Conte. Newcastle interest will go nowhere. Milan has an interest and an influx of money coming - may prove to be an option. You can likely rule out clubs not in the Champions League. Lazio may well block any move this summer but already have a replacement in mind.

I was wondering if any of the eds could give some insight into what made ronaldo want leave juve. It seemed to escalate quickly?
Was it lack of trophies, not bringing high category players in, or wage and contract problems?

{Ed002's Note - Ronaldo (F) was to leave in 2022 but if Juventus were happy to cash in this summer and get his wages off the bill, Inter Miami had an offer on the table for him. His agent offered him to PSG (but they have met their alternate objective of Messi), Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid. The fee would always be small but the wages very, very high - and that scared off Manchester City.}

Seems like lots of club struggling with high wage committments from before C.V. Do you think that this will help drive the wages back down?

{Ed002's Note - Roma lost the battle to get Alessio Romagnoli to sign a new contract with Milan buying him in the summer of 2015 - with Sampdoria and Arsenal very keen on the player at the time. Roma had offered him to Chelsea as part of a deal for Salah. He won't be moving again anytime soon.}
