Hi Ed002

Is there any interest in Roma's Alisson, and if so from whom?

Cheers.

{Ed002's Note - No, not any more.}

Hi Ed002

When you have some time, I was wondering if you would be able to shed some light on what actually happened regarding the De Gea to Real Madrid 'non-transfer'? Both clubs seem to be trying to deflect responsibility for it not going through to the other.

Can understand if you can't answer this though, only just happened and the clubs may want to avoid embarrassment.

Thanks, and appreciate all the info from throughout the transfer window

{Ed002's Note - There is no point going down this whole "blame" route, it didn't happen and that is pretty much the end of it. The lesson learned is don't wait until right at the end.}

Question for Ed002?

Is it true that Man U have agreed a fee for Di Maria? If so, what other options are PSG considering?

Cheers, appreciate the hard work

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United has proposed a price for the player that meets the expectations of Real Madrid. The player, I understand, is keen to make the move. PSG have been rather frustrated in their efforts to sell Lavezzi to free up space in the squad and wages for Di Maria. As such they are, at this time, unable to put an offer on the table. Manchester City has asked Madrid for a little time to see if they could be in a position to make an offer as well - and do not rule that out entirely. This week will see many of the remaining transfer protagonists gathered together for a couple of days (Wednesday and Thursday) and this will provide an opportunity to complete a number of the transactions that have been agreed in principle, to provide for a few moves that have not so far attracted attention and to perhaps discuss and agree a move or two that is entirely unexpected. Manchester United should be in a position to complete the transfer of Di Maria, but do not be surprised by a twist or two just yet. All of the "major" clubs are still trying to get some business completed. PSG will not buy for the sake of it, even having already lost out on a couple of high-profile players - probably including Di Maria. If Lavezzi cannot find a new home, then he will have to stay.}

Other than Barcelona, who was/is still interested in Marco Reus? Do you expect him to move this summer Eds? I'd imagine Suarez's arrival at Barca means they are no longer interested at the moment.

Cheers Eds

{Ed002's Note - Ok.}

Afternoon Eds

Was wondering who is interested in Julian Draxler. I remember reading that Arsenal were interested, but I'd imagine that is gone with them looking likely to get Sanchez. Are Bayern looking at him to replace Kroos?

Cheers {Ed002's Note - There have been offers and enquiries for Draxler. Both Milan clubs, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea have enquired at one level or another about Draxler - each has met a "not for sale" barrier. I expected a deal might be brokered this summer and Arsenal are the team that have consistently pushed for a deal. The player has given mixed responses to interest from Arsenal and they will have moved on now. PSG are looking for a player of that style but are likely looking elsewhere now. Schalke don't want to sell but another option to be offered by Bayern Munich and AC Milan is a pre-payment and a one year loan back to Schalke. Although I think the chance of a move to Italy very unlikely now with Milan's interest elsewhere. Spurs has made an enquiry.}

Hi Ed002

Was wondering if you could provide some information on which teams are interested in Patrik Schick and Keita Balde Diao, and if you expect them to move in the summer?

Thanks

quackers94

{Ed002's Note - Although Patrik Schick only moved in the summer of 2016 Inter have discussed Patrik Schick with Sampdoria (originally trying to to strike a deal involving Dodo). Pavel Paska has spoken with a number of sides about his charge including Juventus and Spurs, both of which are interested, and he also had meetings scheduled with Napoli, Milan, Dortmund and Arsenal but I don't know what happened. Schick has also been watched by Manchester United, Chelsea and Roma but none has declared an interest at this time (Roma potentially rekindling previous interest).

Lazio will sell Keita Balde at the best price they can with Milan, Juventus, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Valencia, Monaco and PSG all having taken a look at the player. Prior interest of Seville, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Rennes has gone.}
