Hi
ed002
Do you know if any teams have shown any
nearest in demble or from Barcelona?

ken

{Ed002's Note - Try the search engine.}

Right never thought of that thanks ed,
Do they need to move mina or smother non eu player on to bring in Arthur ed?
Hopfully united follow up that interest in kroos.

ken

{Ed002's Note - They are constrained with the number of non EU players they have putting aside the Cotonou Agreement. Arthur is not relevant to the matter directly.}

Hi ed002. I've only seen mina play a few games but he looks like a very good player.
Do you know why barcelona are willing to let him go so soon specially after the effort made to secure him?
Secondly ed is there any interest in kroos at Madrid. I think you said they would be prepared to listen to offers for him.? i'm sure at the price required their would only be a handful of clubs that could afford him.
Cheers.

ken

{Ed002's Note - (a) Because of him being a non-EU player. (b) As has always been the case, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.}

Hi ed002.
Has there been any shortlist drwn up yet by real Madrid for the coaches position. Or are they in talks with anybody?

ken

{Ed002's Note - I have explained this on the Real Madrid page.}

Hi ed002. Do you think dembele will stay at Barcelona. Surely they are tight for funds and having greizman coutsand demele would stretch their budget?
Again i know it would be costly to move such a big fee player on so early i just wondeted what they will do in this case.
Cheers ed.

ken

{Ed002's Note - They would certainly sell him for the right price Ken. However, the player wants to stay.}

1.) 22 Apr 2018 14:12:02
22 injury ravaged months is no time at all. i'm not surprised he wants to stay. i'd imagine the right price for barcelona would be too high for most clubs given what they paid for him.
Looks a really good player but if they do sign greizman and sold suarez then you would imagine dembele's opportunities for starts will be limited.
Thanks ed002. I just think it will be an interesting one to follow this summer.

{Ed002's Note - Whilst they would sell Ousmane Dembele and Luis Suarez the lack of buyers at the right price and the reluctance of the players to leave at this time make it difficult. Another forward will be leaving but it is disruptive to their plans and obviously financially they would like to move these players on to help with their larger summer plans.}

2.) 22 Apr 2018 16:37:31
Thanks 002. Who are they looking to replace suarez with ed if you don't mind me asking.

{Ed002's Note - The plan was that Griezmann would replace him.}

Good afternoon ed002.
Just wondering if the is any interest in icardi from inter. I have read his wife is his agent or negotiator and is difficult to deal with i'm not sure if that is true. He is a very good player imo but is he much sought after?
Cheers.

ken

{Ed002's Note - It will be clearer in two weeks, but nothing has changed right now.}

09 Apr 2018 17:01:53
Hi ed002. You have mentioned before that savic at Lazio is wanted by a number of clubs but the price is likely to be very high.
Do you know if lazio intend or need to sell this summer. Or if they qualify for the cl would that change their desire or need to sell?
Cheers.

ken

{Ed002's Note - It makes no difference at all to the situation.}

1.) 09 Apr 2018 18:11:06
Thanks ed. I was wondering if lazio would be more keen to keep key players if they qualify ir if indeed tbe fee would be required for re investing etc. Thanks.

{Ed002's Note - They know who they want as a replacement and it is something they are working on right now. The situation with Sergey Milinkovic-Savic remains the same.}

2.) 09 Apr 2018 19:23:22
Thanks ed. Where do you think he will move to? If i'm not mistaken you said very few could afford him but that the usual protagonists in Manchester United real Madrid and psg were all keen. Is Any club pushing ahead or posing harder?

{Ed002's Note - The asking price is scaring clubs off which is making Real Madrid think twice, hence they have alternatives. They also have significant plans across the board and money can be far better spent. Again the price is making both Manchester United and the manager himself to consider alternatives. He could end up being priced out of a move. But I would doubt that Real Madrid would consider throwing significant funds at him. Lazio would prefer an auction to push it up further.}

3.) 09 Apr 2018 19:38:20
That makes sense ed002. Thanks.
Nothing like an auction to push the price up. I've watched him a lot but don't see 80m type of player. He plays a very similar game to pogba in many ways.
Thanks again.

{Ed002's Note - Right Ken.}

4.) 09 Apr 2018 21:16:18
Just out of interest, Ed002, who would Lazio like to replace Sergej?

{Ed002's Note - Oguzhan Ozyakup.}

5.) 11 Apr 2018 22:01:00
Thanks for that, Ed002. Still the legend!

21 Mar 2018 18:19:55
Hi ed002 are inter likely to take up their option on cancelo currently on loan from valencia? Ta.

ken

{Ed002's Note - They would like to but money remains an issue - I suspect it will come down to what happens with Kondogbia.}

Hi ed 002 hope all good your end.
A couple of questions
1. Do juve have any interest in martial I've read reports that they have. Or is thete any interest from him elsewhere.
2. Do you think ac milan will sell there young keeper donneruma?
3. Do you see any complications and what difficulties to you see for the epl clubs looking ahead to the summer window now that it will close earlier for the epl clubs compared to the likes of italy spain and france for example. Wc years tend to be more difficult to get business done early.
Thanks.

ken

{Ed002's Note - 1. Yes but they are a long way apart on price. 2. They may well need to and there have been discussions with a couple of sides. 3. It will be up to the EPL sides to do their business early and that is what many are looking to do. The problem will be over sales and disruntled players. But a self inflicted wound.}

1.) 18 Mar 2018 11:35:09
Thanks ed002.
When you say a self inflicted wound do you mean by the epl clubs voting to shorten the window?
It did seem to be a rushed vote given that its a wc year which traditionally makes it harder to do business early.

Is juve one of the interested clubs for donnereruma? He does look a really good talent.
Juve tend to do good transfer business and seem to get players in at good prices in comparison to what the epl clubs pay. Notwithstanding the preium english clubs have to pay.
Thanks for the response. K.

{Ed002's Note - Yes, the PL clubs did it to themselves. Juventus is not one of the clubs they have spoken to but they could potentially become involved.}

2.) 18 Mar 2018 18:25:55
Thanks 002 for the reply.

{Ed002's Note - You are welcome Ken.}

13 Mar 2018 09:07:23
Hi ed002. You said in jan united were in talks to try and sign Jorginho from napoli. So you know if they will follow up this summer or has the focus shifted now on to our no1 midfield target savic. Just curious if with the emergence of mctominay has reduced the need of midfielders from 2 to 1?
Cheers.

ken

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United remain very keen Ken.}

1.) 14 Mar 2018 17:22:20
Thanks 002.

Thanks ed 002. League performances have been poor. Who will madrid want to coach and oversee this rebuild?
Im sure they have a list with a few candidates.

ken

{Ed002's Note - They have two preferred options who both have jobs right now so I would rather not discuss it.}

Thats Madrid for you ed. 3 cl wins in 4 years but its not enough.

ken

{Ed002's Note - But only one La Liga in five years and a massive rebuild due.}

Thanks ed. So are united totally out of the reckoning now on him?
Juve are on a s5oending spree of sorts or so it seems will they be trying to sell the likes of dybala sandro or higuain to fund the potential new purchases?

ken

{Ed002's Note - I have explained what I know.}

Moggi is quoted today saying that juve have agreed a price with lazio for SMS. Is there any truth in that ed002?

ken

{Ed002's Note - Milinkovic-Savic has no issues with personnal terms but it will take a commitment from Juventus to agree the fixed asking price which I am not aware they have done yet. They had ideas about players being involved - but the proposal wan't accepted. But they would like a deal at the right price - but that we know already.}
