{Ed002's Note - Morata remains of serious interest to Real Madrid who would like to re-sign the player (possibly for the purposes of resale or exchange) but Juventus are looking for a way to keep him unless a replacement is found - Berardi being one possibility and Batshuayi another - although a previous agreement is now very much up in the air. There is also interest in him from Chelsea and Arsenal in London (although he is not first choice for Arsenal) and from Dortmund - who Real Madrid hope are open to a deal involving Aubameyang - again something that is very much up in the air again. Morata would certainly be be open to staying in Turin but know that they Juventus would need to discuss the buy back clause with Real Madrid and extend it if necessary. Interest of Manchester United would be dependent on a number of factors but cannot be discounted.}

If morata isn't first choice does that mean Vardy is and can you see Vardy joining Arsenal?

ED002 I take Morata is aware that RM want to buy him, to then only sell him on for a profit?
I suppose if they cross his palms with silver he may be willing to accept it, but are there any restrictions stopping RM from buying him and selling him in the same transfer window considering he will have moved to 3 teams so to speak.

Ed I'm not looking for specifics but from Morata's standpoint would he benefit more from being bought and sold by Madrid? I'm just wondering why he'd agree to that unless it would be beneficial to himself.

Real Madrid have a couple of others in mind, and if circumstances are such that Conte were to leave Chelsea he is one on their shortlist but not at the top. Juventus has made clear on many occasions that he will not be leaving.}

I've always wondered how much input a manager gets , is he building a squad or is it more a case of him coaching the players the club buys .

{Ed002's Note - Torino will look to a significant offer in order to sell Andrea Belotti and know that Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal have had the player watched repeatedly and have made general enquiries with his agent. Other sides have had scouts attend games to watch him, Adem Ljajić and Joe Hart. Torino will hold out for as close as they can get to his €60M termination clause - few clubs would have the stomach to pay that. I suspect that a number of clubs scouting games and credited with interest in Belotti were actually looking at Joe Hart. Manchester United and Chelsea have also had scouts watch him.}

I expect you won't answer this and understand if you don't but the couple of factors you mention is one of those factors Ibrahimovic as everyone assumes it's a done deal where as I don't think it is (yet)

I think this is an issue on the site, we all know the Ed's are great with the Info they provide but people take this as absolute gospel .

It's been covered on the United site but how good are this madrid team with out the brilliance of Ronaldo.
Many hold them up as the standard to reach , but take 1 very good player out and they are half the team
