ED002If you would please share any info on Martinez? I recall seeing interest in him from Barcelona but given the new coach and major money worries wonder if he being looked at elsewhere.

{Ed002's Note - Lautaro Martinez (S) Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico, Chelsea, PSG, Manchester City and Bayern Munich have all scouted him but Atletico will be put off by the price and Barcelona have delayed their need until 20121. Real Madid have major financial issues to address before any significant transfers can take place. Chelsea have a sustained interest but those responsible for recruitment see him heading to elsewhere and the club don’t have an immediate need for such a player right now. Barcelona, who see LM as a potential Suarez replacement still maintain an interest in the player but are needing to sell or trade players this summer. Inter and Barcelona have been discussing options for a long time and it is known that Antonio Conte would like him to stay. Inter would much prefer cash to have to accept players as part exchange or perhaps a payment plan - but the clubs are talking (Vidal and Samedo were initially offered up). But Inter want at least €80M in a single cash payment - and that will prove difficult for clubs, else the fee is around €100M. Whilst Manchester City see him as a potential Aguero replacement, they are aware that the player has a preference for Barcelona – but that may not stop an offer being made this summer. having to rethink their plans regardless of how any appeal turns out. Real Madrid are considering Werner as a cheaper option as they are also looking at a world record fee signing in Mbappe as well. If PSG interest will have gone as they are no longer looking to buy and sell on Icardi who will stay – at least until his wife decides otherwise. Antonia Conte wants Inter to have him sign a new contract - perhaps with a Termination Clause that is set very, very high - but Inter need to ensure they balance the books elsewhere or they will then be looking to sell. I suspect a move to Barcelona will go ahead.}

Ed 002 if you don't mind please; just read of koulibalys playing partner Raul Albiol, and in fact ed001 lists him in the underated section today. Given that and the reported massive fee for koulibaly has any club shown serious interest, and would you reckon he would be available?

totally understand clubs not wanting to sell their best players :roma have or seem to have several high value targets so interest is inevitable.

{Ed002's Note - For the likes of Juventus he would be no more than a Plan B and was only being looked at as such when they were looking as a replacement for Wojciech Szczesny. Bayern have already agreed what they want to do in the summer. PSG have other ideas they are working on. So no.}
