Hi Ed002, any interest in Vinicius Junior? Or any thoughts he may want to leave?
{Ed002's Note - There has been interest due to racial slurs but expect him to stay.}
1.) 01 Mar 2023 23:26:28
Much appreciated Ed.
31 May 2020 15:23:59
Anything in Saul Niguez new club you know of Ed?
{Ed002's Note - I cannot answer questions about things said on Twitter.}
1.) 31 May 2020 18:03:32
No worries Ed, was hoping you'd know of any transfer activities regarding him, I have probably been suckered in to soemthing else tho.

Diego Godin Ed, any truth to a loan deal to MU?
{Ed002's Note - I don't see why Atletico would look to loan Godin.}
24 Jun 2018 12:33:27
Any interest or updates on the following players Ed;
Jose Luis Gaya
Diego Godin
David Lopez
Aaron Martin.
{Ed002's Note - (a) I am not aware of interest at this time, they have three leaving which should cover the incoming players at Valencia and I cannot see him wanting to leave with Champions League football. (b) Nothing has changed, JUventus have him on their replacement CB list. (c) There was an enquiry from Spurs after it became clear another target was not going to happen - but entirely dependent on TA. (d) Aaron Martin can now be struck off MUs list as he is moving elsewhere.}

Thank you as always Ed.

Hi Ed, I don't suppose you know Griezmann's decision by chance? Thanks.
{Ed001's Note - nope sorry.}
1.) 13 Jun 2018 06:37:29
He’s decided to get a bit more attention on himself before ending the most protracted move in football. Ever.

Hi Ed, with Allegri leaving Juve would his move to Inter be back on?
{Ed002's Note - No, that is very unlikely now as they have tentative agreement with someone else.}
1.) 17 May 2019 17:50:14
Thanks Ed, a hot topic isn’t it.
04 Dec 2017 14:21:10
Hi Ed. Ancelotti indicating he wants to stay in club management, any idea where is interesting him or who would like to take him? Thanks as always.
{Ed002's Note - Nothing will happen before the summer. He would be happy to return to England but there is no vancancy at the club which attracts him. The side who are in a bit of turmoil with a sale going on is Milan - they may provide a good option.}
1.) 04 Dec 2017 15:43:37
Thank you Ed.
{Ed002's Note - You are welcome.}
30 Aug 2017 21:07:02
Hi Ed, with the window due to close any likelihood United have or will go back for Ivan Perisic or is that dead now?
{Ed002's Note - probably not.}
1.) 31 Aug 2017 07:42:43
Hi Ed02,
sorry if this reads stupid.
But a little confused with your answer.
Do you mean United probably won't go back for Perisic or do you mean that the interest is probably not dead just yet?
{Ed002's Note - I would forget Perisic for no.}
2.) 31 Aug 2017 09:29:26
Thanks for the reply Ed2 :)
Sad that we are not after him now. Would really have liked another winger/ attacker joining.
08 Jul 2017 13:37:05
Hi Ed, is there anything new to report on Ivan Perisic to MU? His price was due to go up July 1st I believe. Thanks as always.
{Ed002's Note - Not really, even with Darmian as part of the deal the amount of cash involved falls short.}
1.) 08 Jul 2017 14:03:07
Thanks Ed, do you believe they will continue to negotiate for the player now?
{Ed002's Note - It is not so much a matter of negotiation, it is a case of simply making an offer that is acceptable. Once that has happened they can negotiate the terms (when monies will be paid etc.). There is no doubt that Mourinho would like to see this go through as an alternative to Antoine Griezmann. If they can get this out of the way and Lukaku signed off then they can sit back and re-evaluate their list of targets for the positions that still need filling.}
2.) 08 Jul 2017 14:55:16
Interesting, thanks for the info Ed, appreciated.
3.) 09 Jul 2017 06:38:47
Thanks for info as always Ed - hope you're able to sip some Pimms while watching Wimbledon, daintily nibbling on strawberries and cream.
Sorry if this should go on the MU page but notice that you've suggested MU reevaluating their targets for positions to be filled: guessing this is primarily a defensive midfielder? If so, any credence to the rumours that Matic is off the table now given Lukaku bid - and are they still looking at Fabinho/ Dier (or other DMs) for the role?
Any input very much appreciated though not fair of us to keep demanding your precious time so no worries if you're busy.
{Ed002's Note - It is nothing to do with Matic.}
4.) 09 Jul 2017 12:51:50
Thanks Ed, that's interesting g to know and certainly contradicts the mass media rumours!
11 Jun 2016 08:51:22
Hi Ed, hope your well this weekend and not travelling too much? I read at the beginning of May that Andre Gomes of Valencia and Juventus may strike a deal to take him to Turin, is that deal getting done or is the door now ajar for other clubs to rekindle or show interest in a deal?
1.) 13 Jun 2016 06:39:45
I read something the other day about this it said his release/buyout (I really don't understand the clauses) was at €52m but somehow it's now at €40m something to do with Jorge Mendes and Peter Lim.
Probably rubbish not that I understand it anyway but I hope we pay €40m for him if it's true
{Ed002's Note - Valencia's Andre Gomes was watched last season by representatives of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Milan, Manchester United and by Vicente Fernandez on behalf of Chelsea. However, the asking price was well beyond anything that would make any transfer possible in the summer. This season many clubs, including Chelsea again, have watched the player but it will likely be Manchester United, Napoli, Barcelona and Juventus that fight for his signature in the summer - and I very much doubt Barcelona, Napoli or Juventus will be able to match any financial offer made by the others without a sudden influx of money - but that may be coming. Napoli and Juventus would need the money from a significant sale in order to move for Gomes without it becoming an unnecessary financial burden - but they are both pushing for a deal. Valencia want a Juventus player in exchange and they think that may be the means to make the transfer happen but Juventus will only agree to that if another player stays. The player is open to a move for English wages and if were not for the toxic fans Manchester United would have signed him in January. I expect Manchester City to step back having agreed their first choice in now - and I expect PSG to do the same. Obviously if Valencia hold out for the sort of figure he has in his release clause then he won't be going anywhere - but they won't.}

With Valverde extending his deal at Barcelona does this mean Setien to Barcelona is off?
{Ed002's Note - For now at least.}
