Hello ed001, could I get your opinion on a few players I barely get to see. They are Kroos, Asensio, Marcelo and Douglas Costa. All highly rated so I was wondering if they're as good as people make out. Cheers mate.

{Ed001's Note - Kroos is a bit like a slightly downgraded Xabi Alonso. Good on the ball but nowhere near as effective defensively.
Asensio is still a kid and I have only gotten to see him make sub appearances to be honest. He does tend to make an impact from the bench though.
Marcelo is someone I am not a fan of at all. He is the modern day full back, awful defensively, good going forward, but not good enough to be an actual winger. Oh and he likes a dive. As modern day left backs go, he is one of the better ones, but I would just rather have a more effective defender or attacker than this type of player.
Douglas Costa was excellent last season, but this season he is not as settled and has had a poor season. At his best he is an exciting winger with a good left foot, like most wingers these days he likes to cut in from the wrong side and shoot more than cross, but he does have a very good cross on him at times. He is a bit erratic though. Could be just down to his pace, as many with that kind of pace struggle to be consistent with their delivery as they forget to slow down before playing the ball.}
