Hi Eds,

I just wanted to ask if there was any new info on a potential move for Edinson Cavani?

I know he was a little unsettled at PSG last season, I think due to him being played out of his preferred position. I thought that the departure of ibrahimovic would have settled that but thought I saw an ed comment recently that he could still move this window.

{Ed002's Note - PSG were willing to sell Cavani last summer and he was offered to a number of sides who had previously shown an interest. Atletico Madrid were planning sales to fund a bid for Cavani but nothing came of it - but space, price and wages would be an issue and their interest is elsewhere. Right now, Chelsea has no immediate interest in the player as they have other targets - again, price and wages will deter them. Juventus were certainly interested but have their answer from elsewhere. He was part of the package offered by PSG for Pogba, as was Verratti - but Juventus were looking to a deal they could control. Inter are keen but don't have the money without selling and PSG will not be interested in a loan to buy. It would not be a surprise to see Real Madrid try and get involved again but they have do have other targets and with a ban looming age could be added to the concerns.}
